Chester Lodge in Sandown is a charming B&B with a prime location near the beach, shops, and restaurants. the family-run establishment offers free parking and a warm welcome from the friendly staff. the rooms are basic but comfortable, with tea and coffee facilities provided. However, the lack of modernization and cramped quarters may be a downside for some guests. the breakfast, while satisfying, could use improvement in the fruit selection and room cleanliness. On the positive side, the staff, particularly Brian, are incredibly helpful and accommodating. Brian's attention to detail and welcoming attitude made my stay enjoyable. While the accommodations may not be luxurious, the overall experience is pleasant and suitable for a budget-friendly stay in Sandown. I would recommend Chester Lodge for travelers seeking a cozy base for exploring the island.
